VBMA Plans 40th Anniversary Celebration for February 14

This Valentine’s Day, the Vero Beach Museum of Art will show its love of art and community at a special anniversary edition of Second Saturdays. Mark your calendar for February 14, 2026, and join VBMA for a special day that celebrates four decades of bringing people together through creativity and arts education in the heart of Vero Beach. 

All day long, visitors can enjoy free admission to Museum exhibitions, family art-making activities, artist demonstrations, live music, food trucks, and more.

New Exhibitions on View

In the galleries, be among the first to view the nationally touring exhibition American Made: Paintings and Sculpture from the DeMell Jacobsen Collection and the original, permanent collection exhibition Construction: from Abstraction to Architecture. Be sure to stop by the Stark Gallery for Museum in the Garden: Envisioning the New VBMA to discover the designs for the future VBMA, which will bolster the Museum’s commitment to arts education.

Museum Studios

Children and their caregivers can join VBMA docents on mini-tours through the galleries, followed by related art projects in the studios.

Music and Food

Anderson Council will be performing rock classics for all ages from 12 to 3 p.m. Space Coast Hot Dogs and Jeremiah’s Italian Ice will be on site from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Vero Beach Museum of Art (VBMA) is Florida's Treasure Coast's premier art institution, featuring American and international art from the mid-19th century to today, with extensive galleries, art studios, a store, and a sculpture garden. It offers changing exhibitions, educational programs, lectures, and workshops, emphasizing American art, contemporary works, and community engagement, with free admission on the second Saturday of each month and accessible options for various audiences, including teens with different learning needs. The museum is undergoing a major expansion through its "Museum in the Garden" campaign to create a transformed campus.
