What is Naturally PSL?

Naturally PSL is a community-driven initiative in Port St. Lucie, Florida, inspired by residents' collective vision to enhance and conserve the city's natural spaces. Launched at the 2025 Citizen Summit, this program aims to raise awareness about the city's green spaces, upcoming projects, and conservation efforts.



Key Components of Naturally PSL:

  • Green Space Development: The city has designated 744.4 acres for development as green spaces, with 198 acres of city-owned natural preserves and 3,909.7 acres for the McCarty Ranch Preserve, Recreation, and Water Quality Project. ​

  • Trails Expansion: Port St. Lucie offers 41.4 miles of existing trails, with an additional 20.3 miles in planning stages, providing residents ample opportunities to connect with nature.

  • Conservation Corps: This volunteer program empowers community members to actively participate in the stewardship of natural environments, fostering partnerships among residents, businesses, and organizations.

  • Environmental Stewardship Awards: Recognizing individuals and groups contributing significantly to environmental conservation and sustainability within the community. ​

  • Green Street Festivals: Events like the Village Green Drive Green Street Festivals aim to engage the community in environmental awareness and sustainable practices.
