Treasure Coast Weekend Almanac

So many fun events this weekend and it's going to be loud in Vero!


This last weekend of April will go out with a bang- literally. The Vero Beach Air Show is the headliner and starts this evening with its first night show ever. The gates open at 6PM, and then at 9AM both Saturday and Sunday. The Blue Angels are expected to perform on Saturday and Sunday. The air show organizers will also host a Food Fest at Riverside Park on Saturday at 5PM.


Neil Diamond fans won’t believe their ears at Summer Crush Vineyard & Winery on Saturday when Neil Zirconia performs from 1-4PM. Attendees will also Off the Hook Food Truck, and Summer Crush Boxes (Cheese, Charcuterie, etc) seafood dips, chips & salsa, ice cream, and more. Speaking of Tributes, One Night of Queen will make its annual appearance at Sunrise Theatre. The show starts at 8PM and features Scottish vocalist Gary Mullen, a legend in his homeland for his uncanny ability to channel the late, great Freddie Mercury.

Fishermen and boaters can head out to the 12th Indian River Marine Flea Market and Fishing Show on Saturday at Indian River Fairgrounds this weekend. Going on all day Saturday and Sunday, this is sure to delight bargain hunters and those interested in all things nautical.

The Vero Beach Museum of Art will be hosting a terrific day for kids and families on Saturday from 10AM-3PM. The Children’s Art Festival will include special docent-led tours of the Vero Collects: Hidden Treasures Revealed exhibition, art hunts, art-making activities in the Museum Art School studios, and music and dance performances by local youth groups. Additionally, an enchanting story will come to life when Space Coast Symphony Orchestra presents the popular Once Upon an Orchestra musical series at the VBMA! These performances begin at 12:30pm and 1:30pm. The event is free, and no registration is required.
