The completion of ORCA's new headquarters, the DJ Rainone Research & Science Center, represents a significant milestone in our environmental stewardship efforts. This center is intended to be a hub of innovation, bringing together researchers, innovators, and community members to develop solutions for the environmental challenges impacting our valuable aquatic ecosystems.
The conference and board room is designed for collaboration and strategic planning and incudes a Clear Touch Interactive Display.
In the entrance of the new facility is the Kilroy Data Hub, showing data from ORCA's water monitoring systems. Spanning across four counties, the ORCA Kilroy Water Quality Monitoring Network plays a crucial role in assessing the health of the Indian River Lagoon. This network of monitoring stations currently consists of 25 systems and provides essential data and insights that inform conservation strategies and scientific research.
