Spirit of Sebastian, the Treasure Coast's first-ever Agrihood, invites the public to enjoy time in the heart of the community at the new “Afternoons in the Agrihood” monthly event series and farmers market being held on select Saturdays beginning November 15, 2025. As a former sand mine, the 182 acres upon which Spirit of Sebastian now sits, is undergoing a restoration…being transformed into a vibrant, residential, low impact development (LID) centered around sustainability and agriculture. In addition to preserving site trees, the ample greenspace throughout the community features a variety of native trees and “pollinator pocket” plant habitats that contribute to water conservation and soil health while providing an array of nectar and pollen sources for bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects.

Located just minutes from dining, shopping, nature preserves and Sebastian’s historic waterfront, Spirt of Sebastian is the Treasure Coast’s first “Agrihood” integrating agriculture into a residential community. With raised garden beds for vegetable production and a variety of fruit trees located within Heritage Park, residents have access to environmentally friendly food sources for a fresh – to – family lifestyle.
