Easter is just around the corner, and the Treasure Coast is hopping with family-friendly events. From waterfront festivals to museum trails, there are plenty of opportunities for little ones to collect eggs and meet the Easter Bunny. Here’s a look at some of the upcoming celebrations across Martin, St. Lucie, and Indian River counties.


This unique event offers a twist on the traditional egg hunt. Hosted by the Children's Museum of the Treasure Coast, families are invited to "hop, skip, and bounce" through the museum to collect eggs along a trail. Organizers describe it as a spring-themed stroll similar to their popular Trick-or-Treat event

  • Cost: $3 per person (ages 1+)

  • Details: This is a fundraiser and not a traditional hunt. Bring baskets for collecting eggs along the trail

Head to the River Walk Center for a spring-themed community gathering. This event features free admission and includes DJ music, face painting, a kids’ zone, and the chance to take photos with the Easter Bunny. Local food trucks and artisan vendors will also be on hand .

  • Cost: Free admission

  • Details: A festive outdoor atmosphere along the waterfront perfect for families


This is one of the largest annual events in the area, drawing families from all over St. Lucie County. Thousands of eggs are typically hidden in age-group zones to ensure fair play for children up to age 11. The event usually features games and Bunny photos .

  • Time: Usually starts around 9:00 AM

  • Location: Whispering Pines Park, Port St. Lucie

  • Cost: Free

  • Tip: Arrive early as lines form quickly, and remember to bring your own basket


For those looking for a coastal celebration, the City of Vero Beach hosts a free, beachfront egg hunt. Children up to age 9 can participate, and families are asked to bring six empty eggs to donate to the hunt. The event also includes golden egg prizes, face painting, and photos with the bunny .

  • Time: Morning (approx. 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM)

  • Location: Jaycee Beach, Vero Beach

  • Cost: Free

  • Details: A scenic beachfront setting for family fun


Bring your own bag or basket for the egg hunt. Music will be provided by DJ-SHHH-OP, and food and drinks will be available for purchase throughout the event. Pictures with the Easter Bunny (5:30 PM), Egg Hunt (6:45 PM), and Over the Hedge movie (7:15 PM).
