The Atlantic Classical Orchestra (ACO), the Treasure Coast’s only professional orchestra will open its 2026 season next week with a dynamic blend of powerful Masterworks concerts and intimate Chamber Music performances. The upcoming season invites audiences to experience the full emotional range of classical music—from grand, sweeping orchestral works to close-up musical conversations—performed by world-class musicians right here on Florida’s Treasure Coast.
The 2026 Masterworks series anchors the season with bold programming that celebrates timeless composers alongside fresh perspectives. Audiences can expect unforgettable evenings featuring iconic symphonies, concertos, and orchestral masterpieces that showcase both the depth of the classical canon and the vitality of live performance. Each concert is thoughtfully curated to engage longtime classical music lovers while remaining accessible and welcoming to new listeners. Masterworks concerts are held in Vero Beach at the Community Church of Vero Beach and in Stuart at the Lyric Theatre.
Complementing the Masterworks concerts, ACO’s Chamber Music series offers a more intimate musical experience. Performed in smaller venues, these concerts place audiences closer to the musicians, highlighting the nuance, artistry, and collaborative spirit of chamber works. From beloved classics to lesser-known gems, the Chamber series allows musicians and audiences to connect on a personal level, revealing the expressive power of music in its most conversational form. Chamber concerts take place in Vero at the Vero Beach Museum of Art, and in Stuart at the Blake Library.

“Classical music thrives on connection—between musicians, composers, and audiences,” said ACO leadership. “Our 2026 season is designed to bring people together through shared musical experiences, whether in the grandeur of a full orchestra or the intimacy of chamber ensembles.”
The Atlantic Classical Orchestra continues its mission of enriching the cultural life of the Treasure Coast through exceptional performances, community engagement, and education. In addition to concerts, the orchestra remains committed to outreach programs that inspire students, families, and music lovers of all ages, ensuring classical music remains a vibrant and accessible part of the region’s cultural landscape.
With performances held throughout the season at premier venues across Indian River County and beyond, the 2026 season reflects ACO’s dedication to artistic excellence and community connection. Subscribers and single-ticket buyers alike are invited to explore a season that celebrates the beauty, power, and relevance of classical music today.
